The Founding of Lapu-Lapu Chapter: A Philippine DeMolay Youth Movement Pioneer
In 1946, Lapu-Lapu Chapter was granted a temporary charter by the Grand Council of the Order of DeMolay. However, due to a lack of information about the DeMolay Movement, the chapter's members were trained as boy scouts, causing a loss of interest among them and their advisors. Dad Juan K. Causing, a World War II hero and veteran, later became the chapter advisor and successfully secured a new temporary charter from the Grand Council. On January 6, 1957, Lapu-Lapu Chapter was formally instituted with 30 members, and it went on to become one of the prominent chapters in the Philippine DeMolay youth movement, helping to establish new chapters in the Visayas and Mindanao.

A Historic Day for Trenchera Chapter No. 122
On July 28, 2024, Werner Paul Schetelig Chapter No. 27 attended the 1st Public Installation of Officers for Trenchera Chapter No. 122, a truly historic day. The event was honored by the presence of Grand Master Hon. Raymund Joseph Ian O. Mendoza and National Master Councilor Bro. Frederick Emmanuel T. Atanacio. Nathaniel Angelo V. De Gracia was installed as the Regional Master Councilor of DeMolay Region 4-B Laguna South. The installing team, led by Jurisdictional Master Councilor for Luzon Shenn Mikhail C. Yanzon, conducted a solemn and dignified ritual. Congratulations to Trenchera Chapter No. 122!
