The Supreme Council Order of DeMolay of the Republic of the Philippines is proud to announce that it has instituted its latest DeMolay chapter in the Philippine jurisdiction last September 17, 2022, by issuing a Letters Temporary to the new DeMolay chapter. Named after our National Hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal, this newest DeMolay chapter is based in Gingoog City in the province of Misamis Oriental.
Sponsored by Apo Kahoy Masonic Lodge No.166, Dr. Jose P. Rizal Chapter No. 110 will be home to future DeMolays in Gingoog City and other outlying municipalities in the area.
The institution and turn over ceremony was led by the Executive Officer for RX-A Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon of the SCOD Leg. Teodoro T. Halibas. He was ably assisted by Leg. Alvin L. Llanderal, who served as Grand Marshal and Leg. Jude Thaddeus T. Tan, who served sa Grand Deacon for the ceremony.
Past Executive Officer and Member Emeritus of the SCOD-RP Quirino B. Parrilla read the contents of the Letters Temporary before it was turned over to the Chairman of the Advisory Council and the Chapter Advisor together with the rest of the officers of the Advisory Council of the new chapter. He likewise shared his thoughts and wisdom to the new Advisors later in the program.
On hand to receive the Letters Temporary were the Chairman of the new Advisory Council of Dr Jose P Rizal Chapter No 110 VW Nerio T. Bermudo and Chapter Advisor WB Carl Vincent M. Lugod. Also in attendance to receive the Letters Temporary were the following officers of the Advisory Council; Vice Chairman WM Ryan O. Igualdo, Associate Advisor SW Ryan R. Mortiz, Finance Advisor JW Jesreel King G. De Torres, Honors and Awards Advisor Saiben P. Panandigan, Auditor WB Moises Rommel J. Rodriguez, Ritual Advisor Edgar C. Fernandez Jr., Membership Advisor VW Angelito C. Hernandez, Activities Advisor WB Maverick D. Mercado, Masonic and Public Relations Advisor WB Crispin H. Hababag and Legal Advisor WB Alfredo Z. Gomez. Also officially received by the new chapter was their Sentinels Book.
After the turn over ceremony, Executive Officer Teodoro T. Halibas likewise took the opportunity to subsequently install all the above mentioned officers of the Advisory Council of the new chapter. The newly installed Chairman then gave a response in behalf of the new officers and advisors of the Advisory Council.
Likewise in attendance to support the institution and turn over of the Letters Temporary to Dr. Jose P Rizal Chapter No 110 were other personalities from the SCOD and the Wadih C Saab Chapter No 16 Advisory Council featuring Deputy Executive Officer of the Supreme Council Order of DeMolay Leg. Joselito Tadeo, Legal Advisor of the Wadih C Saab Chapter Advisory Council Johanne Emmanuel G. Agustin and Auditor/Associate Finance Advisor Reynald Y. Tan.
