After a two-day interlude in the observance of All Saints Day and All Souls Day, one can hear again the noise created by the laborers as they resume repairs and renovation work of the only DeMolay Chapter Room in the country.
This afternoon the SCOD Grand Master, Hon. Edison Abella, provided me pictures of the on-going work. As always, photographs have a tale to tell so here are the updates.
Today they continued to change the vinyl flooring into marble. Upon completion, one can now walk safely and conveniently during rituals. Likewise, old and unserviceable fixtures like the tables, chairs, have to go among others. They will be replaced with new ones.
The completion of the repairs and renovation is set by the end of November, and the inauguration and blessing is scheduled on December 8. The work began on October 12, 2018.
