Marcelo H. Del Pilar Chapter No. 38 Welcomes New Leadership and Honors Esteemed Guests
On July 21, 2024, at the Malolos Masonic Center in Malolos, Bulacan, the Marcelo H. Del Pilar Chapter No. 38 of the Order of DeMolay held a ceremony to welcome its new leadership. Brother John Paul Navarrete was appointed as the Master Councilor, signaling a new era for the chapter.
The event was a gathering of both youth and experience, as esteemed members of the Supreme Council Grand Line graced the occasion with their presence. Grand Master Honorable Raymund Joseph Ian “Raji” O. Mendoza served as the Guest of Honor and delivered a keynote speech that inspired the attendees. His words emphasized the importance of leadership and the role of DeMolay in shaping the future of young men.
Also present were Grand Junior Councilor Legionnaire Ericson B. Atanacio and Honorary Past Grand Master Most Worshipful and Legionnaire Pacifico “Boy” Aniag Jr., who both shared their wisdom through inspirational speeches. Their messages resonated with the audience, highlighting the values and principles that DeMolay stands for.
The ceremony was not only about the induction of new leaders but also about the formation of new support structures within the chapter. Grand Master Mendoza took on the role of officiating the installation of the newly formed Advisory Council and the reinstitution of the Mothers’ Club. These groups are essential in providing guidance and support to the young members of the chapter.
As the pioneering DeMolay Chapter in Bulacan, Marcelo H. Del Pilar Chapter No. 38 has paved the way for the establishment of two more chapters in the province. This growth reflects the success of DeMolay’s mission to reach and positively influence young men, guiding them through their formative years to become responsible and upstanding individuals.
Supreme Council Order of DeMolay Philippines commitment to youth development is evident in the work of chapters like Marcelo H. Del Pilar.
