It was his first time to visit the Grand Lodge of the Philippines (GLP) and the Philippine DeMolay Youth Center (PDYC) and Brother Ryan Jhay “Rj” G. Santos was filled with excitement.
The dateline: 27 September 2019. Mid-day and unpopulated at that time by Brethren — Freemasons and DeMolays alike making him to playfully describe the GLP premises as somnolent.
Bro Rj Gby Dee Santos was on a work visit in Manila and opted to drop by the GLP to upgrade his paper-type Masonic proficiency card to the plastic/credit card type and the PDYC before flying back to Cagayan de Oro City (CDO).
At the PDYC he had the chance to meet and had his picture taken with Bro. GM Adriano Django Durano III and Bro. IPGM Edison Abella.
“The visit was exciting and worth it,” Brother Santos said. He is from the James J. Wilson Chapter based in Zamboanga City and is a Master Mason of the 7 Cardinal Virtues Memorial Lodge No. 390 and a member of the Bulawan DeMolay Alumni Chapter No. 19 which are both in CDO.
