In a historic gathering on the 25th and 26th of November 2023, The Gen. John Joseph T. Pershing Priory No. 5, Order of Knighthood orchestrated a momentous event, the 1st DeMolay Regional Conclave in Region IX-B. Under the resonating theme, “Interrelationships Strengthened through Fraternal Bonds,” the Zamboanga City Masonic Temple Inc. played host to a two-day extravaganza.

Event Highlights:

Day 1: Leadership, Plenary, and Ritual
The inaugural day kicked off with an array of activities designed to enrich and empower. DeMolays from James J. Wilson Chapter No. 21, Jolo Chapter No. 24, and Basilan Chapter No. 93 actively engaged in a Leadership Training Conference (LTC), a Plenary Session, and an illuminating Ritual Workshop. The air was charged with the spirit of camaraderie and shared growth.

Day 2: Ritual Competition and Landmark Exploration
The second day witnessed the culmination of the Conclave with a gripping Ritual Competition that showcased the proficiency and dedication of the participating chapters. Additionally, DeMolays seized the opportunity for captivating Photo Opportunities at the iconic DeMolay Landmark in Boulevard, capturing memories that will forever echo the spirit of this extraordinary event.

The conclave was graced by esteemed guests, including the National Senior Councilor, SK Ethan Carl Belderol, and the Jurisdictional Deputy Grand Master for Mindanao, Dad Leoncio Solamillo. Their presence added prestige and significance to the occasion, underscoring the importance of the DeMolay movement.

A heartfelt appreciation extends to all contributors who played pivotal roles in the success of this monumental event. Special recognition goes to Mt. Apo Masonic Lodge No. 45, F.&A.M. for their unwavering support and dedication. The Sponsoring Body, Zamboanga Bodies A.&A.S.R., deserves commendation for their instrumental role in making this event a resounding success.
