Eid al-Fitr Greetings to Brother DeMolays Worldwide

Dear Brother DeMolays Withersoever Dispersed,

As the crescent moon graces the night sky, we joyfully come together to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, the Holiday of Breaking the Fast. On this auspicious occasion, I extend heartfelt greetings to the entire Islamic world.

Eid al-Fitr holds a profound significance in Islam, marking the culmination of the sacred month-long fast of Ramadan. It is a time of immense gratitude to Allah for the strength and perseverance exhibited throughout this period, as well as a celebration of the completion of the fourth pillar of Islam.

In the spirit of unity and brotherhood, we also extend our warmest wishes to our Brother Muslim DeMolays, as we join hands in commemorating this holy festivity. It is a testament to our shared values of reverence and respect, as exemplified by the cardinal virtues of DeMolay.

Reverence for sacred things and respect towards others’ religious beliefs lie at the core of our principles, guiding us to hold all beings and traditions in high esteem. As we embrace the diversity of our global community, may this day serve as a beacon of renewal, peace, and hope for all.

On behalf of the office of the Grand Secretary, I extend my sincerest wishes for a blessed Eid al-Fitr filled with joy, prosperity, and spiritual fulfillment.

Eid Mubarak!

Hon. Edward Y, Chua, PGM
