Another memorable day for Lapu-Lapu Chapter No. 5 has approached as they install new sets of officers for Term 2022-B at the Borromeo Masonic Hall, Cebu City last July 3, 2022. An exciting moment as they were blessed by the presence of the Installing Officer and National Senior Councilor Bro. Ethan Carl Belderol, NSC, PMC, KT who took his time to travel and support the chapter.
It was a nerve-wracking moment for all the new officers of the chapter as their preparations were cut close from the Conferral of Degrees which happened a week before the installation. Nevertheless, their efforts were not wasted as the ceremony went smoothly as expected. The expectations are high as the chapter bounces back from the recovery of the previous pandemic and Typhoon Odette which hit a big part of Cebu. But the confidence shown by each officer being presented at the altar was evident which assured the audience that the chapter will be in good hands. As the newly elected Master Councilor Bro. Johannes Paolo A. Pioquinto, KT took his oath, he demonstrated his dedication and willingness to lead the chapter into new heights. The Public Installation went smoothly as the speeches were given, inspirations presented and certificates given to each dignitary and installing officers.
As quoted by Ralph Waldo Emerson “Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” Which summarizes the goal of the officers of Term 2022-B. A promising future is about to await from the Lapu-Lapu Chapter No. 5 and may Godspeed and guide them along their way.
