Royal Guardsmen DeMolay Alumni Chapter No.49 London-UK held their 7th Public Installation of Officers last 21st of September 2019 at Leaf Hotel Singledge, Whitfield Dover, U.K.
Bro. Clemente Rey Dorosan, DAAP JVP & Ex O of Region V headed the Installing team.
Installed Officers were:
President – Bro. Gener Gines
Vice President – Bro. Marco Dizon
Treasurer – Bro. Kim Villacampa
Secretary – Bro. Michael Raagas
Asst Secretary – Bro. Jc Javier
Chaplain – Bro Rene John Raphael S. Aquino
PRO / Charity Steward – Bro. Joseph Emil Paras
The name “Royal Guardsmen“ was chosen in the recognition of the historical environment will be operating. The United Kingdom prides itself in it’s tradition, foremost of which is the unity that keeps it attributed to the role played by the Royal Family.
The head of state is Queen Elizabeth II. Her cousin the Duke of Kent, is the Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of England. The Royal Family has played an instrumental role in the growth and preservation of Freemasonry in the country.
As an allied masonic group, the Order of DeMolay is heir to this honored tradition of recognizing the role played by the Royal Family in the masonic tradition. The selection of the word “Royal” in the chapter’s name carries this tradition.
The word “Guardsmen“ manifest the commitment of the Senior DeMolays who formed this Chapter to remain steadfast to their adherence to the Seven Cardinal Virtues. Literally the “members” are guards of these DeMolay virtues and will continue to keep the seven candles lighted in their journey as Senior DeMolays.
The Chapter which was created and established on the 16th of April 2011 and was officially Chartered on the 18th of March 2013.
