“Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.” —John F. Kennedy
The purpose of the Order of DeMolay is to take good young men, and to make them better. As such, DeMolay offers a variety of opportunities to learn to be a better leader. What better way than to offer a chance for a fun and real “hands-on” leadership training? As the Regional Master Councilors for Luzon entered this event, they have been greeted by fun activities and topics that equipped them with substantial learning of Effective Management, Conflict Resolution, Effective Communication, Team Development, and many more applications.
Bro. Vincent B. Figueroa (National Master Councilor), Bro. Ethan Carl B. Belderol (National Senior Councilor via Zoom), Bro. Jessie A. Galicia III (National Junior Councilor), Bro. Frederick Emmanuel T. Atanacio (National Congress Secretary), Bro. Jayde de Leon (National Congress Treasurer) were present as well. Aside from the National Congress Officers, also present were Dad Ericson B. Atanacio (Jurisdictional Deputy Grand Master for Luzon), Dad Emerson B. Atanacio (Congress Advisor for Luzon), Dad Allene O. Gonzales (Deputy Executive Officer for R4-A Cavite), and Bro. Jacob “Kobi” M. Tolentino (Past Regional Master Councilor for NCR-South) and shared their wisdom throughout the entire event.
Now that they leave with the thought that leadership is an action and not a position, it is time for these young men to share their learnings in assisting their respective Regions, and to translate the DeMolay National Congress’ vision into reality.
