In solemn ceremonies, the Escudo DeMolay Alumni Chapter No. 4 (EDAC4) recently had its 28th Public Installation of Officers at the MW Dad Rosendo C. Herrera Hall, Philippine DeMolay Youth Center (PDYC) last Saturday, May 25.

Installed as the new set of officers were: President – Bro. Jonas Domingo (Narra Chapter, San Jose City, Nueva Ecija), Vice President – Bro. Kenneth Karl O. Trobaugh (Mt. Mayon Chapter, Albay), Secretary – Bro. Edmar Mendoza (Teodoro R. Yangco Chapter, Olongapo City), Treasurer – Bro. Erik John Arellano Alipis (Teodoro R. Yangco Chapter, Olongapo City), Auditor – Bro. Paulo Repoquit (Dr. Roman L. Kamatoy Chapter, Sta. Cruz, Laguna), PRO – Bro. Paolo Feliciano (Teodoro R. Yangco Chapter, Olongapo City), and Chaplain – Bro. Nicasio Antonio III (Semper Fidelis Chapter, Batangas City).

In his inaugural speech, Bro. Jonas Domingo reminded all about their lifetime obligation particularly the love for family, it being the first God-given essential cell of human society.

Bro. Ryan Ritch Gregorio, in his valedictory address, guaranteed his unequivocal support to the alumni chapter and to the Order of DeMolay. “Rest assured that my support for our brotherhood will always remain because I am who I am today because of DeMolay, and I am forever grateful,” he said. Bro. Gregorio was also appointed as DAAP Jurisdictional Vice President of NCR-A.

The occasion’s guest of honor and speaker was VW Restituto T. Domingo, PDDGM of Narra Lodge 171 in San Jose City, Nueva Ecija. He is an Honorary Legion of Honor (HLOH) awardee of the Supreme Council, Order of DeMolay of the Republic of the Philippines.

Officers of the DeMolay Alumni Association of the Philippines (DAAP) present were Bro. Mark Henson S. Tio (EVP), Bro. Alvin L. Llanderal (National Secretary), Bro. Rafael John M. Mendoza (BoD) and Bro. Achilles Galit (JVP NCR-B).

The Installing Team were composed of EDAC4 members. They were: Bro. Alvin Llanderal – Installing Officer, Bro. Jerick Gempesaw – Installing Marshal, Bro. Rafael John Mendoza – Installing Senior Deacon and Bro. Adelbert Jerome Castro – Installing Chaplain.

Some Sisters from the Job’s Daughters International were also present and graced the annual occasion.

The Escudo DeMolay Alumni Chapter No. 4 is the only multi-alumni chapter in the country. It’s members are composed of Senior DeMolays from different parts of the archipelago and most of them are now Freemasons in different Masonic Lodges.
