Upon the invitation of DeMolay Legionnaire Adriano B. Durano III, Deputy Grand Master of the Supreme Council, Order of DeMolay and a member of Illana Bay Masonic Lodge No. 274, Hon. Edison Abella, Grand Master of the Supreme Council, was the Guest of Honor and Speaker in simple ceremonies during his official visit to meet with the chapter officers and members of Misamis Chapter, Pagadian City Chapter, Salug Valley Chapter and Sibugay West Chapter last September 21-22, 2018 at Pagadian City.
Together with Deputy Grand Master Adriano Durano, the following dignitaries also received Grand Master Abella at the Illana Bay Masonic Lodge in Pagadian City: Brother Chevalier Randy B. Rebuyon, Chapter Advisor of Pagadian City Chapter; Legionnaire Romeo C. Hofileña, President of Southern Mindanao Colleges; Brother Rudolfo P. Rodrigo, Regional Master Councilor of Region IX-A South, National DeMolay Congress; Brother Prince Philip Pamaran, Master Councilor, and Brother Kier Christopher S. Lapur, Past Master Councilor, both of Pagadian City Chapter.
The following Executive Officers of the Supreme Council also met GM Abella: Bro. Chevalier Richard C. Timosa, Region IX-A North; VW Rene Domingo O. Quiñones, Region IX-A South; Leg. Jose Rizalino L. Ortega, Region IX-B; Leg. Quirino B. Parilla, Region X-A; Bro. Chevalier Stephen A. Co, Region X-B; Bro. Chevalier Kosain R. Maranda, Jr., Region XII; and Bro. Allan Rey Crumb, President of Dad Filemon S. Pajares DeMolay Alumniu Chapter No. 41.
Grand Master Abella sincerely thanked Deputy Grand Master Durano and those who helped organize his chapter visitation, including their respective lovely spouses, for their personal efforts and warm hospitality. GM Abella intends to conduct more visits and meetings with the DeMolay Chapters in the provinces and regions in the coming months in order to bring the Supreme Council, Order of DeMolay into the chapter’s doorsteps.
