Hon. Edison Abella, Grand Master of the Supreme Council, Order of DeMolay, personally hosted the traditional DeMolay Night, an informal gathering of Master Masons who are Senior DeMolays coming from the different parts of the Philippines, prior to the Opening Session of the 102nd Annual Grand Communication (AnCom) of the Most Grand Worshipful Grand Lodge of the Philippines, held on April 25, 2018 at Roadway Inn in Davao City.

Abella, together with Hon. Rodel Riezl S.J. Reyes, Past Grand Master of the Supreme Council and currently the Grand Treasurer who resides in Davao City, warmly welcomed all the Master Masons and Senior DeMolays who joined the fellowship night. It was a time of catching up among the Brethren and sharing of ideas to further promote the tenets and ideals, projects and activities of the Order of DeMolay in the Philippines.
Grand Master Abella presented and invited the Master Masons to become Frank S. Land Centennial Fellows, wherein they will be able to support of the 100th Year Founding Anniversary of the International Order of DeMolay that will be celebrated worldwide in March 2019, and, at the same time, become active partners in its crusade for growth of its members and expansion of its chapters of the Order of DeMolay in the Philippines.
Dad Frank S. Land is the founding father of the Order of DeMolay, which was formed and established in March 18, 1919 at Kansas City, Missouri, USA. Today, the International Order of DeMolay has more than four million members worldwide coming from more than 1,000 chapters in 12 countries.
