Last October 12, 2024, in a significant move to promote active participation in sports, DeMolay Philippines officially launched its athletic program for the biennial term. The event took place at the Philippine DeMolay Youth Center, with program chairs Brother Val Padua and Brother Allan Balitabat leading the first training session for Active DeMolays.

The launch was a milestone for the organization, emphasizing the importance of sports in the development of young men. Circular No. 2024-33 Mendoza, dated September 4, 2024, officially announced the athletic program of the Supreme Council, with a primary focus on taekwondo and other sports.

The Supreme Council expressed its gratitude to the Active DeMolays who attended the inaugural session and extended an invitation for continued participation in upcoming sessions. The council aims to foster a sense of community and physical well-being among its members through these initiatives.

For more information about the taekwondo training program and other athletic activities, interested individuals are encouraged to contact Brother Val Padua. Brother Padua, a Past Active DeMolay and Advisor of Jose Abad Santos Chapter No. 1, Order of DeMolay, is available to provide further details and guidance.

DeMolay Philippines is committed to providing opportunities for personal growth and leadership development. Through programs like the taekwondo training initiative, the organization continues to uphold its mission of “Portals of Our Youth in Raising Better Men.”
