Grand Master Edison Abella and the Executive Committee of the Supreme Council, Order of DeMolay (SCOD) recognized the widespread clamor from many Master Masons and Senior DeMolays here and abroad, who had only come to know of the DeMolay Centennial Crusades and would also like to support the Order of DeMolay in the Philippines and its celebration of the 100th Year Founding Anniversary of the Order of DeMolay in March 2019.
Thus, Grand Master Abella issued Circular No. 2019-02, dated January 10, 2019, approving the extension of the application, acceptance and payment of membership to the DeMolay Centennial Crusades, which includes the Dad Frank S. Land Centennial Fellows for Master Masons, Jacques DeMolay Centennial Fellows for Senior DeMolays, Louis Gordon Lower for Active DeMolays, and the Grand Master Centennial Knights for Individual and Corporate Sponsors, from its original deadline date of January 11, 2019 to March 16, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.
The Supreme Council shall continue to accept the sign-up forms and membership payments for the DeMolay Centennial Crusades until March 16, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at the registration booth during the DeMolay Centennial Founding Anniversary Celebration at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Manila.
Ms. Ma. Cristina M. Sordan, SCOD Executive Director, announced that the Supreme Council will be releasing / mailing the dinner and raffle tickets for the DeMolay Centennial Founding Anniversary Celebration to all fully-paid members of the DeMolay Centennial Crusades very soon. The specially-made DeMolay Centennial regalias for the corresponding DeMolay Crusades membership will also be issued soon. Ms. Sordan is reminding all those who had already signed-up and pledged their support to the DeMolay Crusades to remit / deposit their full payments to the Supreme Council as soon as possible.
Very recently, Grand Master Edison Abella, together with Hon. Rodel Riezl S.J. Reyes, SCOD Past Grand Master and Grand Treasurer; and DeMolay Legionnaire Eric B. Atanacio, Chairman of the SCOD DeMolay Centennial Anniversary Committee, received and met with Brother Roy M. Kalu, Chairman of the Planning and Organizing Committee, DeMolay Centennial Celebration under the Filipino-American Senior DeMolay Association of Illinois and Texas, USA. Brother Roy Kalu is from the same chapter of Brother Eric Atanacio at Gen. Douglas MacArthur Chapter and is presently based in Texas, USA.
The Supreme Council also received the additional memberships from Master Masons Benedicto Tuazon San Luis of Pilar Lodge No. 15 as a Dad Frank S. Land Centennial Fellow and John Anthony L. Lim, Al-Haj of Gen. Douglas MacArthur Chapter and Quezon City Lodge No. 122 as a Grand Master Centennial Knight. Congratulations to all.
