On July 13, 2024, in General Santos City, a notable achievement occurred within the Mindanao DeMolay community. A cohort of committed DeMolay Advisors from different chapters and Knighthood Priories successfully concluded the High Performing DeMolay Advisor Development and Accreditation programs, which were meticulously organized by the Philippine DeMolay Leadership Academy.
Over 20 DeMolay Advisors participated in the comprehensive accreditation process, which was also attended by Association Advisors from their respective local DeMolay Alumni Chapters. Additionally, mothers and guardians of Job’s Daughters International members were present as observers during the training sessions.
The day-long discussion was intense and covered a wide range of critical issues and concerns relevant to the local DeMolay Chapters and Knighthood Priories. The accreditation process focused on real-life scenarios, ensuring that Advisors were well-prepared to handle the challenges they might face.
PDLA Director and Grand Junior Councilor Legionnaire Eric Atanacio skillfully facilitated the training, while National Master Councilor Fred Atanacio and National Senior Councilor Joaquin Echeverria shared invaluable insights from their experience at the International Congress Session in Phoenix, Arizona. JMC for Mindanao Luis Banaag and Regional Master Councilor Thomas Jover were also present, lending their support to the event.
All DeMolay Advisors who completed the HiPer DAD training and accreditation will be honored with a patent and an accreditation pin from the Supreme Council. It is a testament to their commitment and their status as Master Masons in good standing.
This achievement marks an important step in the journey of these Advisors, who play a crucial role in guiding and mentoring the young men of DeMolay. Their accreditation is a reflection of the organization’s dedication to “Portals of Our Youth in Raising Better Men.”
