DAAP OFFICERS PAYS COURTESY CALL TO GM CHUA AND SCOD-PH

The leadership of the new set of officers of the DeMolay Alumni Association of the Philippines recently trooped to the Supreme Council Order of DeMolay of the Republic of the Philippines, at the Philippine DeMolay Youth Center, to make a courtesy call to the new Grand Master and Grand Line Officers.

The DAAP officers delegation, led by its National President Bro Mark Henson S. Tio, together with the Executive Vice President Bro Melvin Calimlim and the National Secretary Bro Alvin L. Llanderal, met with SCOD-PH Grand Master Honorable Edward Y. Chua and the rest of the Grand Line Officers at his office in the PDYC last August 1, 2022.

Also present and in attendance with the DAAP officers delegation were Jurisdictional Vice President for Southern Luzon Bro RB Fernando and Jurisdictional Vice President for Western Luzon Bro Sabino Merciales III.

During the courtesy call, Bro Mark Henson Tio, as the new National President, presented the DAAP’s immediate plans for the next two quarters and reported the projected expansion of DAAP to several new alumni chapters both here and abroad.

Meanwhile, Centennial Grand Master Hon. Adriano B. Durano III and Jurisdictional Deputy Grand Master for Luzon Ericson Atanacio shared the news and details about their discussions with DeMolay International, regarding DAAP’s proposed goals of accepting membership from other territories abroad. This was during their recent trip to the United States to attend the DeMolay International Grand Session.

GM Edward Y. Chua, consequently, requested the full support of the DAAP leadership for his term, specially in the support for the Active DeMolay brethren and their activities. He likewise hoped that DAAP would fulfill it’s mandate to be a strong partner and support group to the Supreme Council Order of DeMolay in it’s aims and goals to further the development of the Order of DeMolay in the Philippines.

Also in attendance during the courtesy call were SCOD-PH Past Grand Masters Evaristo A. Leviste, SCOD-PH Grand Secretary and Victor Antonio T. Espejo, SCOD-PH Grand Auditor. Present, likewise, were Deputy Grand Master Raymund Joseph Ian Mendoza, Grand Senior Councilor Albert V. Manlulu, and Grand Junior Councilor Ramoncito Javier.
