On July 13, 2024, in General Santos City, the air was filled with excitement as close to 120 participants gathered for the third class of the Philippine DeMolay Leadership Academy (PDLA) leadership and management training workshop. The event was a vibrant gathering of DeMolays and Job’s Daughters, representing various chapters, priories, and bethels from across the region.

The theme for PDLA Class No. 3 was “Never Estimate the Importance of Having Fun“, a message that resonated with the enthusiastic attendees. The workshop was designed not only to impart valuable leadership and management skills but also to ensure that the learning process was enjoyable and engaging for the young participants.
The Supreme Council and PDLA extended their gratitude to Mt. Matutum Chapter No. 33, Maribulan Centennial Chapter No. 98, and Frank S. Land Priory No. 9 for their exceptional hospitality in hosting the PDLA. Their efforts contributed to the event’s success, making it both memorable and fun for all the young boys and girls of the Masonic youth.
The PDLA is a testament to DeMolay’s commitment to nurturing the potential of young individuals, embodying the organization’s motto: “Portals of Our Youth in Raising Better Men“. Through workshops like these, DeMolay continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future leaders of tomorrow, one fun and educational experience at a time.
