The Tomas L. Cabili Chapter No. 13 held its 92nd Public Installation of Officers for Term-B of 2022, today, August 8, at Ubaldo D. Laya Masonic Center, Pala-o Extension, 125-B, Iligan City.
The Installing team was led by Past Master Councilor Kenneth Clark A. Abragan together with Fer Angelo G. Caorong, Kt, as the Installing Senior Councilor, Karl Paulo B. Ong, Kt, as the Installing Junior Councilor, Basti B. Reyes, Kt, as the Installing Chaplain, Von Leigh Brian C. Apat, as the Installing Senior Deacon, and Clark C. Villarin as the Installing Marshall.
The Brethren used the new shipped and tailored robes from the Supreme Council, Order of DeMolay, which was sponsored by the Chapter VW Dad Advisor, Aly Khan U. Ali, PM. At long last, the chapter has its new set of robes for the ensuing term and for the years to come.
Bro. Jaypee B. Barcenal promised the brethren that whatever the legacy the past master councilors have started or contributed, he will continue it as he believed that the Tomas L. Cabili DeMolays are born to lead, it may be in the organization or in the society.
Outgoing Master Councilor Al Shuraim D. Dipatuan thanked everyone, especially the active members, the members of the advisory council, and those who supported him during his term – as it was a fruitful and memorable one.
The Installation was graced by the Executive Officers of the Region XII – Dad Dionesio A. Paran, President of the DeMolay Alumni Iligan Chapter – Bro. Alan R. Santos, Regional Master Councilor of Region XII – Bro. Al Shuraim D. Dipatuan, PMC, FMA, LGLCF, and Dad PCPT Ronald Angelo H. Rivel – as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
More so, Dad Rivel emphasized the importance of embodying the seven cardinal virtues and the fourteen (14) code of ethics of the Order as these lessons are helpful in the practical world wherein being determined and persevering are necessary, especially when we like to accomplish or achieve something in life.
And lastly, EX-O Dad Paran also reminded everyone of the obligations and commitments of the active DeMolays, especially attending stated meetings, being an obligated brother, and always valuing the reputation of being a DeMolay.
