SCOD-RP EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR ATTENDS DEMOLAY INTERNATIONAL NORTHERN CALIFORNIA CONVENTION
Upon the invitation of her counterpart Christian D. Moore, GC, DeMolay International Executive Director, Supreme Council Order of DeMolay of the Republic of the Philippines Executive Director Ma. Christina M. Sordan attended the DeMolay International Northern California Convention last Saturday, November 27, 2021 in Burlingame, California.
Ms Ting Sordan, who was in North California because of family matters, was personally invited by Moore as a guest of DeMolay International to the said convention of Active DeMolays, their Advisors and Master Masons from Hawaii and Northern California.
During the convention, which was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in San Francisco, Ms Sordan was able to sit in and observe a session for adults regarding upcoming projects and partnerships facilitated by DeMolay International Executive Director Christian D. Moore, GC and DeMolay International Grand Master Vincent A. D’Aguanno, GC. Previous to that, she likewise sat in to witness the annual presentation of upcoming jurisdictional programs for the succeeding term.
After the convention, Ms Ting Sordan was able to take the opportunity to sit down and meet with DeMolay International Grand Master Vincent A D’Aguanno, GC as well as Past Grand Master DeMolay International and past Manila visitor, Mike A. Salazar. She also took time to sit down and meet with her counterpart and host Christian D. Moore, GC and our very own Supreme Council Order of DeMolay of the Republic of the Philippines Grand Representative to Northern California, Gilbert Cruz, who also attended the said convention.
“It was quite a different experience attending the convention”.. exclaimed Sordan.. “friendship na kami ni GM D’Aguanno”..she added jokingly with a laugh.
