Grand Assembly of the Philippines Extends Courtesy to DeMolay Philippines

On August 5, 2024, in Manila, Sister Mahalia Mariano-Borja, the Supreme Deputy of the Grand Assembly of the Rainbow for Girls in the Philippines, and Sister Kathleen Mae Tabing, the Grand Worthy Advisor, accompanied by their Rainbow Sisters, extended a gesture of camaraderie and support by visiting Honorable Grand Master Raymund Joseph Ian “Raji” O. Mendoza at the Philippine DeMolay Youth Center.

The visit was a significant moment that brought together two esteemed organizations dedicated to the development and empowerment of the youth. The Grand Assembly of the Rainbow for Girls, with its mission to foster high ideals of good citizenship and service among young women, and DeMolay Philippines, committed to raising better men through its various programs and activities, shared a common goal of nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.

Also in attendance were other distinguished members of the DeMolay leadership, including Deputy Grand Master, Legionnaire Albert V. Manlulu; Grand Senior Councilor, Legionnaire Ramoncito P. Javier; Grand Junior Councilor, Legionnaire Ericson B. Atanacio; and Grand Secretary, Honorable Edward Y. Chua. Their presence underscored the importance of the event and the strong bonds between the members of the Masonic Youth organizations.

The courtesy call was not only an opportunity for the two groups to exchange greetings and share insights but also a platform to discuss potential collaborations and initiatives that could further enhance the growth and development of the youth in the Philippines.

As DeMolay Philippines continues to serve as a beacon for young men, guiding them through the portals of opportunity towards becoming responsible and upright citizens, the visit from the Grand Assembly of the Rainbow for Girls reinforced the message that the journey towards a better future is a collective effort, transcending gender and organizational boundaries.

The gathering was a testament to the enduring spirit of cooperation and mutual support among the Masonic Youth organizations, as they work hand in hand to shape a brighter tomorrow for the youth of the Philippines.
