DeMolay Philippines’ 102nd chapter is officially in the books as the Supreme Council Order of DeMolay of the Republic of the Philippines recently instituted its newest chapter in the Philippines.. Mendez-Nunez Centennial Chapter No. 102 Order of DeMolay.
January 25 of this year saw the birth of the brand new chapter in the municipality of Mendez, province of Cavite. The SCOD-RP formally turned over the Letters Temporary of Mendez-Nunez Centennial Chapter No. 102, in a simple but meaningful ceremony, at the Mendez-Nunez Masonic Temple of the said locality.
Jurisdictional Deputy Grand Master for Luzon of the Supreme Council Order of DeMolay of the Republic of the Philippines Legionnaire Ericson Atanacio led the formal hand over rites of the Letters Temporary to the Chairman of the Advisory Council of the chapter WB Sergio Dimandal, who is the Immediate Past Master of its sponsoring body Mendez-Nunez Masonic Lodge No. 316 F&AM.
Executive Officer for Cavite of the Supreme Council Order of DeMolay Legionnaire Raymond Salazar together with the Chapter Advisor, incumbent Senior Warden of Mendez-Nunez Masonic Lodge No 316 Romulo Abancio Jr, were, likewise, on hand to witness the hand over ceremony. Together with them, in full force, were the newly appointed Advisors and Members of the Advisory Council of the said chapter, who attended the Advisors orientation and seminar after the ceremony.
“… We would like to thank our Centennial Grand Master Adriano” Django” Durano III for his support, guidance and inspiration.. ” said Executive Officer Salazar. “.. We see a very bright future ahead for this chapter. The members of the Advisory Council are very enthusiastic about this.. ” added Salazar.
Legionnaire Salazar also thanked the full and solid support of DeMolay Cavite towards the new chapter. “… We look forward and hope for more chapters to come..” enthused Ex-O Salazar.
Mendez-Nunez Centennial Chapter No. 102 Order of DeMolay, sponsored by Mendez-Nunez Masonic Lodge No. 316 F&AM, is the sixth and latest chapter to be organized and created in the jurisdiction of Cavite.
