Hon. Edison Abella, Grand Master of the Supreme Council, Order of DeMolay (SCOD), together with the other SCOD Grand Line Officers, namely: Leg. Adriano B. Durano, III, Deputy Grand Master; Leg. Edward Y. Chua, Grand Senior Councilor; Hon. Rodel Riezl S.J. Reyes, Past Grand Master and Grand Treasurer; and Hon. Victor Antonio T. Espejo, Immediate Past Grand Master, attended the 102nd Annual Grand Communication (AnCom) of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of the Philippines, which was held on April 26-28, 2018 at the SMX Convention Center in Davao City.
MW Abraham N. Tolentino, Grand Master of Masons of the Jurisdiction of the Philippines, formally received Grand Master Abella and the SCOD Grand Line Officers during its Opening Ceremony of the 102nd AnCom. His Excellency, Hon. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, President of the Philippines, was the Guest of Honor and Speaker during the said annual affair.
Grand Master Abella also met up with some of the Senior DeMolays and Master Masons, coming from Australia and other parts of the world, including the Past Grand Masters of Masons, namely: MW Jaime Y. Gonzales, MW Pacifico B. Aniag, and MW John L. Choa, among others. GM Abella invited them to become Frank S. Land Centennial Fellows, which is in support of the 100th Year Founding Anniversary of the International Order of DeMolay which will be celebrated worldwide in March 2019, and, at the same time, become an active partner in its crusade for the growth and expansion of the Order of DeMolay in the Philippines for the next 100 years.
