On September 6, 2024, in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, the Dagohoy Chapter No. 51 of the Order of DeMolay hosted the inaugural Cluster Conclave, uniting chapters from Cebu, Bohol, and Negros Oriental. The event was a triumph, drawing more than 30 active DeMolay members who were enthusiastic about advancing their knowledge and development within the organization.
The conclave was graced by the presence of esteemed DeMolay leaders, including Grand Junior Councilor Eric Atanacio, Jurisdictional Deputy Grand Master for Luzon Frank Tumaneng, Executive Officer Frederick Miraflor, and National Master Councilor Fred Atanacio. These leaders provided invaluable training and guidance to the participants, emphasizing the importance of leadership, responsibility, and brotherhood.
In addition to the active DeMolay members, the event was also attended by Sister Rainbows, Moms, and Dad Advisors from various regions. Their presence underscored the supportive community that surrounds the DeMolay organization, highlighting the role of family and mentorship in the development of young men.
The theme of the conclave, “DeMolay: Portals of Our Youth in Raising Better Men,” encapsulated the organization’s mission to foster the growth and character development of its members. Through workshops, discussions, and interactive sessions, the conclave aimed to equip young DeMolays with the tools and values necessary to become responsible and upstanding individuals in society.
The 1st Cluster Conclave in Bohol was not only a testament to the strength and unity of the DeMolay chapters in the region but also a celebration of the organization’s commitment to nurturing the potential of its youth. As the Order of DeMolay continues to expand its reach and impact, events like the Cluster Conclave serve as pivotal moments for reflection, learning, and growth.
