Phoenix, Arizona – June 22, 2024 – In a significant move towards international collaboration and mutual growth, the Supreme Councils of DeMolay Brazil and DeMolay Philippines have entered into a formal partnership. This strategic alliance was solidified with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on the eve of the DeMolay International installation ceremonies, marking a new chapter in the expansion and development of the Order of DeMolay.

The ceremony, which took place in Phoenix, Arizona, was a momentous occasion that brought together leaders from both Supreme Councils. Grand Master Leandro Temponi of DeMolay Brasil and Grand Master Raymund Joseph Ian “Raji” O. Mendoza of DeMolay Philippines, along with other esteemed officers, were present to witness and participate in this historic event.

The signing of the MOA was a symbolic gesture that underscored the commitment of both organizations to work together in sharing experiences, programs, and development strategies. This partnership is expected to not only strengthen the bond between the two Supreme Councils but also to facilitate the exchange of best practices and innovative approaches to youth leadership and development.

Grand Master Temponi expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “This is a new era for DeMolay, one where we can learn from each other and grow stronger together. We are excited to embark on this journey with DeMolay Philippines and look forward to the shared successes that lie ahead.”

Echoing these sentiments, Grand Master Mendoza emphasized the importance of collaboration in the continued success of the Order. “By joining forces with DeMolay Brazil, we are opening up new avenues for our members to learn and grow. This partnership is a testament to our dedication to providing the best possible experiences for our young men and to the future of DeMolay.”

The MOA signing was also attended by other key figures, including NMC Fred Atanacio and NSC Joaquin Echeverria, who played pivotal roles in the negotiation and finalization of the agreement. Their presence underscored the importance of this partnership and the support it has from the broader DeMolay community.

As both Supreme Councils look to the future, the partnership between DeMolay Brazil and DeMolay Philippines represents a beacon of hope and collaboration.
