SCOD GM’S BREAK BREAD FOR FRANK S. LAND DAY
Yesterday, Chevaliers of the Order of DeMolay around the world are breaking bread amongst themselves or with Active DeMolays. Some are dining with young men in their teens in memory of their beloved founder, Dad Frank Sherman Land.
In line with today’s special significance, some Supreme Council Order of DeMolay Grand Masters, Chevaliers themselves, who took the same oath as every Chevalier to hold communion and break bread with fellow Chevaliers or court of Chevaliers, wherever they may be, met today, November 8, 2021 at the Philippine DeMolay Youth Center in Manila.
Hon. Adriano “Django” Durano III, Centennial Grand Master and Past Grand Master and Grand Secretary, Evaristo “Sonny” Leviste got together this afternoon at the Grand Masters office and broke bread to commemorate the death anniversary of Frank Sherman Land.
Coming together and sharing a simple meal of bread and wine, the two Grand Masters of the Supreme Council Order of DeMolay has observed the time honored obligation and tradition of all Chevaliers of the Order of DeMolay, to salute the legacy of Dad Frank Sherman Land every November 8 of each year.
